Snooping and surveillance

States across the world are increasing police powers and surveillance measures. They present them as ’emergency measures’ to fight crime or terrorism. Yet, they remain in effect once the ’emergency’ has passed.

These systems and policies do not stop at national borders. They affect the rights of everyone, and are especially dangerous for marginalised groups, protesters, and dissidents. 

We work to provide insight into how these systems work, expose their harms, and challenge their spread.
